The sprawling estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean comes with a catch

You can live like a Bond girl in a Malibu mansion overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Actress Jane Seymour has put her seven-bedroom California estate up for rent, but it will cost you a pretty penny at a whopping $US100,000-per-month ($146,869).

There is also a catch, with the property costing you an extra $US25,000-per-month ($36,679), should you decide to rent the home only one month at a time.

It’s also only available to rent from October 2022 to May 2023.

Listed by Jeff Chertow of Pinnacle Estate Properties, Dirt understands Seymour bought the property back in 1994 for a cool $US3.4 million ($4.9 million).

Occupying 587-square-metres, the mansion contains eight bathrooms, ample living and dining areas, a movie theatre and art studio.

Those that like to entertain will love the tennis court, manicured lawns, pool and terrace area overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

An entertainer’s kitchen is also another standout feature, boasting a large marble island, ample white cabinetry and beamed ceilings.

Interiors are certainly luxurious with timber floorboards, soaring ceilings, ornate fireplaces and soft white furnishings.

Seymour is perhaps best-known for starring as Bond girl Solitaire in 1973’s James Bond film Live and Let Die.

She has also received multiple Emmy Award nominations for her role as Dr. Michaela Quinn in the TV series, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.

Seymour was awarded an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2000.
