Entertainer Colin Lane – half of the Lano and Woodley comedy act – is selling a substantial family home in inner-city St Kilda.
Kipling Mews, a five-bedroom Federation with three living areas, sits on a battleaxe-shaped block spreading a suburban-size 613 square metres near Balaclava’s Inkerman Street shops and the beach.
A renovation undertaken as part of an extension by Mr Lane and his wife, Marnie, retained period features including fretwork and pressed metal ceilings. Marshall White’s Sam Hobbs is expecting a result in excess of $2.2 million when 14 Kipling Street is auctioned on March 4.
