Television handyman and part-time actor James Bawden – whose interests include a prestige furniture range designed with his wife, Kimberley-Jade – is selling a renovated and extended single-fronted St Kilda East cottage.

The luxuriously appointed two-storey propertyhome has three bedrooms, two living areas, two bathrooms, a courtyard and store room. Sotheby’s International Realty’s Sarah Case is expecting a result of about $1.35 million following the April 8 auction.

James started his television career with Channel Nine’s Domestic Bliss working with Scott Cam and Shelly Craft before becoming a host and builder on Network Ten’s The Home Team DIY show.
