Top 4 homes to inspect in Canberra and the surrounding NSW region this weekend

June 24, 2022
This Kangaroo Valley home has a price guide of $2.9 million.

Earlier this week, I was reminded to be still. On top of the public holidays, we’ve been spoilt with recently, I’ve had many events in between from weddings and birthdays to family gatherings that have taken me back to my hometown in Sydney multiple times.

The past few weeks have really flown by me and I haven’t had much time to stop and smell the roses.

Canberra has become my place of peace and inspiration and when I’m looking through this week’s featured properties, I’m in awe of what the capital has to offer.

Every now and then during my drive into Allhomes’  Kingston office, I’d take a detour away from my usual route for a change of scenery and over the next week I might just take a detour via some of these beautiful abodes in the capital.

So, take some time to read through our top picks this week, to admire and appreciate the display of luxury in Canberra.

Breakfast with a view takes on a new meaning when it’s enjoyed from the cleverly designed al fresco servery-style bar. The back deck is an extension of the living and dining area, especially when the corner sliding door is completely open. A slow-combustion wood fireplace keeps this area warm and cosy throughout winter.

The studio, positioned above the garage, is equipped with its own bathroom and fireplace. It is large enough to double as guest accommodation, an oversized bedroom or even a home office, because if working from home is an option, you’ll never want to leave this sustainable sanctuary built to a passive solar design.
