The transport corridor of Flemington Road has become a bustling mixed-use hub that places its residents within a short bus ride of the city.
The proposed light rail has become a key factor in attracting owner-occupiers and investors to the area as Flemington Road residents will be among the first Canberrans to benefit from the first route.
InStyle Estate Agents director of project marketing Jamie McDonell said the location has been particularly popular with first home buyers and young Canberrans who are seeking value for money within easy reach of the CBD and Gungahlin Town Centre.
Matthew and Catherine Tognolini have purchased a townhouse in Artego development and say the complex was a stand out in the area.
“From the minute we walked into the sales office we knew that this development would be right for us – everything from the inclusions list to the way the development was laid out,” Matthew says.
The Tognolinis’ home will include two living rooms, an en suite, an oversized garage with internal access and about 131 square metres of living.
They said the sale process was simple and the display suite allowed them to choose a property that was right for them.
“We cannot wait to get into our new home,” Matthew says.
