Retired AFL great Travis Boak is seeking a new owner for his Adelaide sanctuary.
The three-time All Australian and former captain of the Port Adelaide Football Club has listed his Somerton Park home – a property designed as a private retreat from his worklife.
Boak played 19 seasons with Port since being drafted at pick 5 in the national draft.

During his time at the club he amassed 387 matches, becoming the club’s games record holder. He hung up the boots at the end of the 2025 season.
“I wanted to build something that when I came home from footy I could walk in and just be completely at peace,” he said in a statement.
The five-bedroom, three-bathroom property is the former mid-fielder’s second home but his first “build”.
The custom home, completed in 2015 by a local Adelaide builder, boasts four-metre ceilings across a 400sqm internal living space on a generous 1000sqm block.
Places of retreat around the house have been split out into three enormous living zones.
One zone has a home theatre, another is a large living and dining space off the kitchen while the third is set up like a large sitting room.

The gourmet kitchen and butler’s pantry are fitted with integrated SMEG appliances and boast an abundance of inbuilt cabinetry and benchtop space.
The home’s bedrooms are spread across the home with the primary suite the showpiece.
“Its feature-lit decadence steps from box window storage to a dressing room staged for tailored suits and ties to designer heels, handbags, and jewellery,” the listing with Rod Smitheram of Ray White Glenelg reads.
“Bedroom two drifts into a sumptuous couples’ domain offering a walk-in robe, chic ensuite, and patio doors to a private courtyard – an indulgent retreat for staying family.”
Bedroom three and four are in a separate wing of the home. They both have tall built-in robes and share a third bathroom.
The outdoor spaces have been designed to support both recovery and lifestyle.

There’s a tiled heated outdoor swimming pool for therapeutic relaxation and a dedicated gym space which allowed Boak to maintain his professional training regime in privacy.
The outdoor kitchen, BBQ area and spacious back yard offer a great space for entertaining.
There’s also an oversized double garage and two additional car spaces.
Boak is selling up ahead of a move back to Melbourne to take up a new leadership and culture role with the Carlton Football Club.

The position will see him working closely with the Blues’ playing group three days a week on leadership and cultural development.
Smitheram said interest in the property has been strong with more than 100 groups of buyers flooding the first open homes at the weekend.
The property is for sale via expressions of interest closing on February 9.
