WHY I BOUGHT IN… KINGSTON

Kingston’s reputation as a hub of activity for young professionals has attracted many investment property owners.

This week Susie Woonton and Roysten Wright purchased an apartment at Kingston development Salt. Susie says the location and the quality of the home will have a lot to offer tenants.

“It’s a nice, established suburb and this street particularly has a really nice feel about it,” Susie says.

“It’s far away enough from the action so if you can enjoy the nice tranquility of this street, but you can be down at the foreshore or over at the shops in a matter of minutes.”

It’s the third property the couple has purchased from POD Projects Group and Susie says she knows she can expect quality and excellent service from the team.

“We’ve just found that they’re extremely customer focused and really, really good to deal with. I’ve just referred my sister and her partner on and they’ve also bought an apartment at Salt,” Susie says.

Susie and her sister have each purchased a two-bedroom courtyard apartment on the ground floor.

She has also taken advantage of the upgrade package, which includes underfloor heating in the bathrooms and deluxe kitchen appliances.

“The finishings and fittings are extremely high end and it’s going to have that really luxe appeal to people,” she says.
