Peter Ostick and his wife Ida Almasi have put their five-bedroom, four-bathroom residence in Byron Bay on the market.
It was left to local sources to confirm a price guide of $20 million, as Will Phillips and Brad Rogan of Sotheby’s International Realty Byron Bay declined to comment on any aspect of the listing.
Ostick, a media and tech entrepreneur who started an internet TV sales platform, is also a yoga enthusiast and the co-founder of Soma wellness spa in Ewingsdale, which sold to activewear mogul Lorna Jane Clarkson for $10,975,000 in July.
Soma served as the primary film location for the first season of Nine Perfect Strangers starring Nicole Kidman.
Clarkson, who made the list in the Australian Financial Review’s Top 75 richest women in Australia for 2025 with an estimated $303 million wealth, told AFR in September that Ostick and co-founder Gary Gorrow continued to run retreats at the venue that focused on yoga, meditation and breathing.
“Any changes we make will be small. We want to bring our active living philosophy to life,” Clarkson said.
Ostick’s newest listing is a beach house built in 2025 that is footsteps from Belongil Beach. Ostick and Almasi bought the land for $3.05 million in 2020 and have been renting out the home on Airbnb for about $3850 per night.
The buyer will be neighbours with Chemist Warehouse billionaires Damien Gance and his wife Sasha Robertson, who inked a $33.5 million Byron Bay record in cash earlier this year, for a property across the road.

Work and travel schedules have meant that criminal defence lawyer Monique Tran and her partner Trevor Lam have chosen to put their Bellevue Hill fixer-upper on the market instead of rebuilding.
The couple, who live in the suburb in a $6 million architecturally designed abode with a pool, bought the three-bedroom house with potential for $11,601,000 at auction in March last year with the intention of doing a knockdown rebuild.
Tran has more than 20 years of experience as a criminal defence lawyer.
The couple have listed the house with a guide starting at $11 million, and they are keen to transact, said Gavin Rubinstein of TRG, who not only holds the listing alongside Oliver Lavers but also bid for the couple at last year’s auction.
The fixer-upper is nestled among some of the finest homes in the suburb, including $60m sandstone mansion Rona, and Barda House on Victoria Road. It is directly opposite Scots College.
There is a retro kitchen with chequerboard floor, a terrace and a tiered-level backyard with space for a pool, subject to council approval.
An auction has been scheduled for 5pm on Wednesday, December 3.
Tom Snow, son of late billionaire businessman and philanthropist Terry Snow, and the former director of Canberra Airport, has emerged as the buyer of Cloud Valley homestead in Ravensdale.
Records show Tom purchased the estate on the Central Coast region of NSW through his private company Barkly Southern Four Pty Ltd for $20.5 million in July. It was listed through Cullen & Royle’s Richard Royle and Forbes’ Ken Jacobs in September last year with a $25 million to $30 million guide.
Previous owners of the estate include broadcast legend John Laws and his late wife Caroline, who are understood to have hosted politicians and business heavyweights; the Docker hotelier family; businessman Tim Hughes and his wife Jackie.
The 131-hectare retreat has a main residence and guest accommodation. It has a total of 14 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.
There is a wellness centre with a lap pool, gym and sauna, a tennis court, landscaped gardens and equine facilities.
Interiors include ornate fireplaces, a country-style kitchen, polished floorboards and sandstone floors.
Tom is the chair of the Snow Medical Research Foundation and is the founder and former chair of Equality Australia, which was behind Australia’s official YES campaign for marriage equality.
His father Terry, who developed Canberra Airport, died in August last year, aged 80. He was ranked 30 on last year’s AFR Rich List with an estimated wealth of $4.1 billion.
