The Centre for Martial Arts & Human Development Incorporated are looking to hire their furnished and newly renovated martial arts centre. The Centre would be perfect for martial arts, fitness, dance, or activity groups that their their vision of providing 'human development' services to not only the Gungahlin Region, but to wider Canberra.
The Centre currently hosts Karate (www.karatecanberra.com.au) and Aikido (www.aikido-canberra.com), and would like to offer other programs. The Centre is a registered non-profit association in the ACT and has been running since the beginning of 2009 and has continued to grow over the past 6+ years.
The facility has nearly 90m2 of matted floor space, bathroom facilities, various martial arts equipment, a lobby for spectators, and kitchen facilities that include free tea and coffee.
Currently, the Centre is looking for programs who may be able to use the Centre at their vacant times, which include everything OUTSIDE of: Monday to Thursday - 4.45pm to 8.45pm Friday - 5.45pm to 7.45pm Sunday - 9.45am to 1.15pm
The hourly hire fee is $20 per hour for less than 20 hours per week, but can be negotiated at a lower rate should someone wish to provide more than 20 hours worth of services.
The Centre can also be hired for one-off events.
