Domain Prestige catches up with associate director from Ray White Double Bay Gavin Rubinstein.

Is there a typical start to the day for Gavin Rubinstein?

From Monday to Friday I am very regimented and have a very structured week in order to take on this crazy world of real estate. I am in the gym by 5.30am, I pre-order my breakfast, so as not to waste time, which I have at the same cafe from 8am and during this time the phone is ringing as my clients know when my day begins. 

What is the most important asset an agent can offer?

At the end of the day what you get paid for is to be a good negotiator. You are being hired to get the best price for your client.

You have a strong social media profile, tell us how you utilise social media?

Real estate is a personal business and I am an open book on social media. It is a very powerful tool and through social media I am able to be in contact with even more buyers.

You sell some of sydney’s most beautiful properties. What is your dream home?

I would like one day to live on one of the harbour beaches such as Kutti Beach in Vaucluse. That beach lifestyle really appeals to me.
