A boutique development in inner-Brisbane will be ripe for young professionals, with prices starting from $389,000.
The eight-storey development Oxy in Stones Corner will be launched by R&W Projects this month, and will contain 60 apartments.
It’s the latest Brisbane project from builder and developer Lantona.
Lantona managing director Andrew Hanna says the project is perfect for professionals looking for inner-city village living.
“Stones Corner is right on the cusp of becoming Brisbane’s most fashionable new suburb,” he says.
“It’s got a great village vibe, a real sense of community and the Brisbane City Council’s neighbourhood plan for the area is only going to enhance that.”
Mr Hanna says the development is focused on owner-occupiers, and the quality of the finishings reflects that.
R&W projects director Owen Moore says while it is perfect for the owner-occupier, the project is also a great investment opportunity.
“With its high level of finishes and detail Oxy is very much targeted at the owner-occupier market but the pricing is going to make it equally appealing to investors who want an apartment that will attract a good rental and a quality tenant.”
The complex will feature 15 one-bedroom apartments priced from $389,000; 41 two-bedroom apartments priced from $514,5000; and four three-bedroom apartments priced from $695,000.
Designed by architecture firm Ellivo, the complex will also feature a spacious rooftop garden and an entertainment level.
Mr Hanna says they wanted the architect to incorporate everything residents might need in the rooftop space.
“We pictured how our buyer would want to live and worked from that point. No matter how spacious your apartment, there are times when you need more space to entertain or just a change of scenery where you can chill out with a book or a beer and take in the incredible views over the city.”
The result is a rooftop design that includes covered dining and lounge areas, an outdoor kitchen and a TV and sound system.
Mr Moore says the development’s proximity to Stones Corner village centre will be a drawcard for owners and prospective renters.
“We also expect to see strong interest from health professionals given that it is close to five hospitals, Greenslopes, Lady Cilento, the Mater, Princess Alexandria and St Vincent’s,” he says.
