A luxury Zen escape in Benowa Waters has hit the market, as it’s owner looks to move into a more vertical style of living.

Entrepreneur Austin Watson has listed his six-bedroom, five-bathroom retreat with a price guide of $3.8 to $4 million.

Mr Watson, who works mainly in the fashion industry, said the property was inspired by five-star living from around the world.

“It’s very Zen, very peaceful; somewhere where you can really collect your thoughts and enjoy the ambience,” he said.

Adding to the resort feel, the home has both a dry and a wet sauna.

Statues throughout the oriental-themed property were flown in from India and are more than 100 years old.

And if potential buyers like the rest of the furnishings, they can purchase them with the house.

Selling agent Rachel Scull of McGrath Broadbeach said the property is unique.

“There’s nothing that compares to this house anywhere on the Gold Coast,” she said.

The finishings are at the top of today’s market, according to Ms Scull.

“It’s had a lot of money spent on it, so it’s the utmost quality,” she said.
