We’ve carried some good news from the recent easing of open home and on-site auction bans into this week with the ACT government announcing physical distancing is planned to be further relaxed from May 30, as part of stage two of the COVID-safe restrictions.
So, what does it mean for buyers and sellers?
The number of people allowed to attend open homes and on-site auctions is currently capped at 10, excluding staff.
If Canberrans continue to stay well behaved and on the current path to suppressing new cases over the coming days, stage two will see that number double to 20.
Our open homes circuit is back and gearing up to be bigger than before – there’s a fresh sense of confidence as more groups pass through inspections and the electricity in the air at on-site auctions is returning.
